"Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life"

"Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life"
Berthold Auerbach

Amelia started the cello a year and a half ago with my husband, Justin.  It is amazing to see how far she has come in just a short time and I know she has incredible experiences in her future!  She is a beautiful person- both inside and out.  Actually, GORGEOUS is a better adjective!  When we found out her family is moving {sigh}, her mom and I talked about getting photos of her cello to help decorate her new room.  I'm so glad she was willing because she was SO much fun to photograph!  Thanks a ton to Song for suggesting Fort Washington as our location!  What a cool place!!  To see Song's awesome photos from this shoot, click here.
Thank you, Amelia, for the beautiful music you brought to our home, week after week.  We will miss you and your wonderful family!!

Sweet Baby Olivia

What an angel!  Olivia was absolutely perfect during her newborn session- and that's no small feat when you're only five days old!  I was so excited when Cari, a fabulous photographer, asked me to take pictures of her new baby.  I can't get over how perfectly perfect she is!

Big brother and sister, Rob and Edie, were so patient while I took over their play area and borrowed their sister for the session.  Cookin' up some serious cuteness!!

Have you seen me?

Jackson's school bus is missing... :(  It used to belong to Justin when he was little, and Jackson takes it EVERYWHERE.  Up until a few days ago, he couldn't eat without it, couldn't sleep without it, couldn't go to nursery without it...he couldn't even go from room to room without it.  In fact, whenever I take out my viola to practice, he yells "Stop, Stop" and insists that if I am playing, I am playing his favorite song: "The Wheels on the Bus."  Well, his best friend has gone missing.  Every night when he asks for his bus before going to bed, and we have to sadly say we don't know where it is, he hangs his head and says "Sowee Bus, Sowee..." {It breaks my heart.}  Wherever you are, Bus, I hope you will find your way back to us, or find someone who will love you just as much as Jackson did.
